Our History

An avid runner, founder Simon Taylor was frustrated with the lack of easy-to-use online registration software for running events. He began by developing websites for running clubs in 1999, and soon left his day job at the IT department of a large multinational bank to provide online event registration for a wide variety of sporting event clients.

Primo Solutions was formed in January 2008, and is well on its way to becoming the leading provider of registration and database services.

What's in a Name?
The name Primo comes from the Italian word "Primus," meaning 'first among many.' Our name exemplifies our vision for this business: we strive to be the forerunner in online event management.
