Athletics Northern Ireland
Athletics Northern Ireland is the governing body for athletics in Northern Ireland. The organisation is responsible for promoting the sport, organising championship events and delivering athletic development programs.
The Problem
Like many organisations, Athletics Northern Ireland had several separate Excel spreadsheets of contacts, many with redundant information, and none easily searchable. The organisation asked Primo to help in creating a single accessible database for all contacts.
The Solution
Primo developed a customised database using JAVA and MySQL that was designed to provide easy access to important information. Primo also ensured that all the data was cleansed and updated.
The Results
Athletics Northern Ireland was able to spend less time focusing on administrative tasks and more on promoting events and services to clubs and athletes. The organisation is also using Primo's online event registration software for all of its competitions, as well as offering the solution as a service for all races in Northern Ireland.
