Sport Systems is one of the UK's leading event management and timing companies, and provides chip timing to over 200 events per year.
The Problem
Once Sports Systems began offering its services to race organisers, they began to create websites to handle online entries. With its ever-growing portfolio of events, Sports Systems needed a system to streamline this process.
The system needed to be suitably robust to allow all of the participants to search results the day after their race, as well as handle entries for popular events that sell out within days.
The Solution
Primo developed a software solution that allowed Sports Systems to post race results in a searchable database on site immediately after an event. The database provided participants the ability to search for their race results, as well as see how others ranked.
The Results
On big race days, Sports System's software can and does handle over 90,000 page views. The software has increased the company's e-commerce business and reduced its costs.
